I worked as the carpenter for Prime Stage Pittsburgh's production of The Great Gatsby. The show was built at a local shop and needed to be constructed to be transported to the New Hazlett space. The set consisted of a gran arch with a capital and double hung window sitting on top of a two step risen platform with convex and concave arches and a ground platform of a perfect circle. Largest challenge was constructing a large scale arch to be lightweight, transportable, and able to be flown for placement.
